Rural Glaswegian

Collection of Digital Repeat Patterns.

As part of my theme, I created rustic style designs with influences from animals in and around Glasgow.

“Sauchiehall” Digital Repeat Pattern.

Inspired by the pigeons on Sauchiehall Street I painted these motifs with watercolour.

Tested multiple background colours and textures and rescaled the motifs until I confirmed the design.

Highland Cow repeat pattern

Designed in Watercolour and edited digitally.

Source photographs taken in Pollok Park in the heart of Glasgow.

I used both designs on cushions, tote bags, greetings cards.
